Androgenetic Alopecia
Androgenetic alopecia is the condition responsible for hair thinning and hair loss, affecting both men and women.
Although it manifests differently in each gender, the psychological impact is similar for both, as individuals often lose their self-confidence along with their hair.

What is the clinical presentation?
Androgenetic alopecia in men is due to the effect of androgens on hair follicles, with a genetic predisposition to its occurrence.
Different patterns of alopecia exist, with each individual experiencing thinning in different areas. The most common patterns are the front of the scalp (hairline) and the temples, while thinning in the central part of the scalp is rare.
Conversely, alopecia in women affects the central part of the scalp and can start after the onset of menstruation.
What is the treatment for androgenetic alopecia?
Minoxidil Treatment
Another way to combat alopecia is through the topical use of minoxidil, which prolongs the anagen phase of the hair cycle. Its effectiveness becomes apparent after eight weeks of use, with significant hair restoration observed within a year.
As with finasteride, stopping minoxidil gradually brings back the problem. An ideal treatment involves combining topical medication with therapies like hair mesotherapy, among others.
A simple genetic test for hair loss can indicate which substances are most effective for each patient based on their genetic profile. This allows for targeted treatment and guaranteed results.
Autologous Hair Mesotherapy
Autologous hair mesotherapy is a non-invasive treatment aiming to restore scalp density.
This revolutionary method is ideal for both men and women and can provide a rich, entirely natural result.
Hair Transplantation
FUE hair transplantation can offer a completely natural outcome. This modern hair implantation method is minimally invasive and doesn’t create scars, as hair follicles are extracted one by one.
It’s the most effective way to restore alopecia (baldness), especially when it has progressed to advanced stages.
